Susanne Kabalan (Germany), harp

Susanne Kabalan was born in Berlin in 1985. The German-Arabic harpist studied classic concert harp at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart. She also studied History and Culture of the Orient at the Free University Berlin. Susanne Kabalan took interest in contemporary music from early age, she played numerous premieres at festivals such as the Donaueschinger Musiktage, MaerzMusik Berlin or the Darmstädter Ferienkurse.

She performs as a harpist in orchestras such as the West East Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim, and is a fellow of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation “Live Music Now“.
